Another popular church in the city is the Theatinerkirche, which is located at Odeonplatz. This particular church was constructed in the 17th century and has a baroque style of architecture. The church has two towers and a 71-meter tall dome. The façade of the church is in Rococo style, while the interiors have stucco decorations. The altars in the church have paintings of George Desmarees, Joachim Sandrart, Carlo Cignani and Casper de Crayer.
Visiting this Bavarian capital and not visiting a beer garden would mean an incomplete holiday. One garden that is famous around the city is the Hofbräuhaus. It has a huge beer hall, with a seating capacity of 2,500. However, this beer garden is famous with tourists, so visitors should not expect to come in contact with too many locals here.
